Club length: 2 hours, but you’re welcome to leave earlier.
Location: Container 74, St. Saviour’s Yard, St Saviours Lane, Norwich NR3 1GQ. Please view our exact location on Google Maps here.
About the Club
Enjoy a calm and cosy evening with solo roleplaying games, and learn more about the genre and how to play games on your own. Each month we’ll try a new type of game, for example journalling games, and we’ll learn how to play them. We can also share our thoughts and other solo games we enjoy.
What are Solo Roleplaying Games?
They are tabletop games that can be played on your own, and you often play as a character or take on a specific role. They can be open ended and creative, and sometimes involve drawing, journalling, writing or another activity.
They often involve you creating a narrative with prompts, making decisions that lead you through the adventure, and/or use chance or randomness to add unexpected elements to the experience,
You can find lots of solo games on Itch.io, and we’ll try games from here in the club sessions.
Places are limited to six at each club due to the size of our space.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
