About the Workshop

Design and draw a loot chest for your favourite video game, or a fantasy environment.

Loot chests (sometimes called loot boxes) are commonly found in video games and tabletop roleplaying games, like Dungeons & Dragons.

We’ll explore:

  • How items are designed for video games.

  • The fundamentals of concept art (early sketches and artworks created when developing a game, tv show, film, comic, or other story)

  • How to communicate ideas through drawing.

You’ll receive a booklet to draw in and keep, to continue the activity at home if you’d like to.

Suitable for all skill levels, including beginners.
