Workshops for Adventurers Aged 18 - 1,800

Adventurers aged 18 and over in Norfolk are warmly invited to free fantasy worldbuilding workshops across the county. We especially welcome introverted and neurodivergent explorers, and anyone who is usually unable to afford creative activities.

From June 2025 to June 2026, we’ll be running 10, three-week adventures in 10 inspiring locations, each with its own fantastical theme influenced by the venue and its history. Together, we’ll draw new worlds, characters and stories.

Travel Bursaries

If you’re unable to afford the travel to and from the workshops, we may be able to cover the costs. We have a total of £200 to support participants’ travel for each three-week workshop series. This can include train and bus tickets, taxi fares, petrol costs or other costs from travelling to and from the workshops.

If you’d like a travel bursary, please complete the travel bursary question when signing-up for a workshop series.

The Adventurer’s Post

As part of our funded project, we're creating four new newspapers dedicated to fantasy worldbuilding, for ages 12 - 1,200.

We'll have four events over the next 12 months in the Forum Norwich, where you can pick up a free copy* and try the activities with us, or take it home to enjoy.

If you’re able to afford paying for a copy, you can subscribe to all four issues or pre-order our Summer 2025 issue. For every newspaper sold we'll donate a copy to someone who is unable to afford it.
